Damphu Tshechu Regional Mask Dance Festival

"The Damphu Tshechu at Damphu Dzong draws farming communities from across Tsirang's cardamom and rice terraces for two days of masked dances, folk song competitions, and archery. The festival is distinctive for featuring Zhungdra and Boedra classical song forms — court music traditions preserved in Tsirang rarely performed at larger festivals. Village craftswomen sell hand-loomed textiles, cane baskets, and dried cardamom at the festival market outside the dzong gate in a vivid rural celebration."
