"Begin the morning at a revered local stupa, joining residents on their quiet daily circumambulation. Visit one of Bhutan's traditional arts schools to observe — and try your hand at — thangka painting or weaving. In the afternoon, walk to a hillside monastery above the city for butter lamp offerings and a moment of still reflection. A leisurely dinner in town rounds off a day lived entirely at your own tempo."
